Overview

The idea is a simple one: each Friday, post photos on a given theme. It's tons of fun, but the pay's for crap. Shane suggested the idea in February of 2006.

Use this page to keep track of upcoming themes and look back on past threads. Add your theme to the upcoming list and make sure to include your name.

Future Photo Friday Suggestions - Include Your Name!!

  • Emulate a MetaChatter: Make yourself up/dress yourself up/pose in what is quintessentially in a way that flatters or lightheartedly pokes fun at another member. For example, I might put on a rock t-shirt, a flannel, grab a beer bottle, and presto! I'm jonmc. (I could blur the photo for extra realism).
  • Something that makes you smile
  • Something that makes you proud
  • Goofy clothes: Take a pic of yourself in a goofy outfit, something you never wear anymore, a funny wig or hat
  • Sanctuary: A favorite place, a park, a cafe, wherever you go to relax/feel safe
  • Exquisite corpse: Everyone takes a picture of their upper torso, middle torso and lower torso/legs. Then Photoshop mix and match fun. -hellbient
  • Self portraits
  • Favorite thing(s) you wear: clothing, shoes, jewelry, etc.
  • Favorite vacation photo
  • What I Did Over Summer Vacation: An Embellished Narrative Featuring Words, Photographs and An Unusual Conclusion
  • Looks Like: Nondescript things that resemble something specific (sorry for self-link). -hellbient
