P h o t g r a p h i c a l   F r i d a y . . . D o o r s !    I believe today is when we are supposed to reveal our depictions of apertures, egresses & ingresses, entranceways & exitways, hatches, openings & portals; be they to vehicles, homes, offices, or other dimensions.

These are all doorways in the town where I live, which I photographed in the course of a long walk early one sunny Saturday morning in June.

WOW, misteraitch, too cool! What a great variety... it's easy to see your city has a lot of character.

The first image taken with the new cameraphone: my door when I got home late from work last week, courtesy of my (always) hungry son.

I "hope" (heh, that's where the Othello Tunnels are) these are appropriate for this week's theme.

I'll be at our new place this weekend (we're trading freezers with the current owners) and hope (there we go again!) to get a photo of the front door.

Mine are all doors that have been painted over or camouflaged.

Here's a favourite of mine photographed by Jon Sullivan in 2002:

It's a well in Ireland. I tweaked it a bit and made it look like a painting and use it as a desktop wallpaper.

If it's not clear, TheDonF inspired me to post this.

I pass this old house every day.

This is the house attatched to it. The roof partially caved in last year.
What's amazing is that there are people still living in the back part of
this house. They run a farm stand here.
