Photo Friday: Furry Friday! Post pics of your pets! →[More:]Also acceptable: teddy bears, hirsute boyfriends, bunnies (OMG).
I love that first picture in the guinea pig village. It looks as if only one guinea is brave enough to approach the building and the other guineas are all hanging back waiting to see what happens.
Teh kyootness of this thread may kill me today, these are all awesome. The guinea pig village made me laugh and rhapsodie's picture with dandelion is really neat.
I've met Masha. Masha's awesome. She and I have a love-hate relationship. As in, I love her, and she loves me as long as I'm not the tallest person in the room.
Aw! All these pictures make me wish I didn't hate my cat so much. (Enh...I don't really hate the fuzzy little bastard. I just wish he didn't have such bloodlust. Especially not human blood. Lord is he ill-tempered.)
He used to have quite a penchant for our fridge, even to this day if the lower shelf is empty and someone is browsing for an extended period he may hop in unnoticed and hang out for ten minutes or so. Long haired Turkish Van, the most emotional cat I have ever owned next to my old Maine Coon.
This is Smoky, George's cat. She's 21 years old now, a feisty little beast, deaf as a post now, and the tiniest adult cat I've ever come across. I was warned by everyone that she is evil, but she loves me and follows me everywhere around the farm, meowing to be picked up. Nobody else is allowed to pick her up and she appears to hate every other human but me.
Smoky's a true farm cat, lives in the barn and she gets a handful of kibble a day and catches the rest of her food, mostly moths, but one day we heard noises outside early one morning and when we opened the door she was chewing out the throat of a large jackrabbit that was twice her size.
Even though months go by between my visits to the farm, she always remembers me and comes running as fast as her stiff little legs will carry her when I get out of the car.
Elizard's computer is borked, so I'll post this for her. The furball machine that is called Al. No shots of the little (10? 12? week-old) kittah yet though. ≡ Click to see image ≡
i'm a little late to the party, but with some very valuable consumer advice from our own mygothlaundry, i upgraded our old camera with the annoying 3-5 second shutter delay with a kickass canon powershot. i might even be able to participate in these photo friday things more often! :)
here's a pic of our cat proxy, lounging on the front steps and looking way too goddamned cute for his own good:
