Show us your gams, legs, pins, whatever you call them. Or show us your feet, or...what was the theme again?
Not my legs, but the legs of two of my favourite MeChas.

I tried to warn y'all. But nooooooooooo. Fine. This is nothing I haven't seen before.

There are 8, count 'em, eight legs in this picture. The 4 black ones in the middle belong to Beau, the Spotted Tongue Wonder Dog, friend of man, and foe of cats. The two behind him, with the painted toenails belong to a Player to Be Named Later from Memphis. The pasty white tree trunks in the Tevas?

That'd be me.

My name is BoringPostcards ... and that was attempt number six.

I already posted my gams (or gam, as the case was) for a prior photo Friday. I have no new gams to give you. *sniffles*

Here are some photographs I took that have legs in them. None of them are my legs. I do have a photo of my neck, however, which I'm saving for the special "Show Us Your Neck!" Photo Friday.

and I have to say that mike9322 has some pretty fly gams in that pic.

you run cross country in highschool too, mike?
posted by lonefrontranger 02 February | 10:56
I did.

Though the legs were from cycling on the weekends with my dad and actually kind of a liability in running. Too heavy. That was my excuse for sucking and I'm sticking to it.

mike i sucked at XC too... from, you guessed it: too much cycling. I wholeheartedly agree they're a liability.

and on the question of sucking, no one ever sucked as hard as me. I was probably the only runner in the history of high school cross country to get a varsity letter for *never* breaking a half hour for 5k. now THAT is suck.

and a real testament to the size and suckage of our school but that's a whole other story and i've derailed far enough
posted by lonefrontranger 02 February | 11:04
Half hour? I was having a bad day and now I feel so much better! You suck!

Still, I bet you would kick my ass hardcore on the bike.

My best time and the only time in 3 years I ever scored points for my team was 18:31. I was so thrilled to get under the 6:00 mile barrier.

The CD was one I received via the Summer Burn comp swap thing - it was a great mix of laid-back coolness and ideal for listening to in the sun. Oh yeah, and odd socks are cool! Even if they were in need of a wash...
posted by TheDonF 03 February | 09:46
thanks CF12, we lovess our red Sidiss lotses, o yes we does, preciousss. I like them even better considering I got them for considerably less than half retail. I like that chrome fixte of mine a lot too.

monkey feet, yes indeed ew! I like both those pics tho, they're so cute.

WolfDog... um. wow - I just remembered you're some species of mountain biker, eh?

these are all good, shane's Wild Things in the car are too cool! taz that sandal pic looks like something from a spendy ad campaign for summer tourism.

posted by lonefrontranger 03 February | 14:02
Hey, lfr, it's mostly all road for me these days, and when I do go off the pavement it's usually with my Volpe, not a real mountainbike. On the other hand, I live in the Blue Ridge; even a ride on pavement is "mountain" biking.

I love your motion shot on the bike. I was confused for a bit because it looks like you have a CF top tube... but Bianchi doesn't make those... least of all on a singlespeed. But I guess it's just the denim reflecting in the chrome that gives it that distinctive fiber-y look.
posted by Wolfdog 03 February | 17:16
oh haha no that's neither CF nor a weird reflection: the top and downtube are both taped courier-style with black electrical tape in order to protect the chrome from the daily abuse of racking and u-locking it.
posted by lonefrontranger 05 February | 00:38
oh and btw that's not a singlespeed. it's a fixed gear.
posted by lonefrontranger 05 February | 00:40
{fixed gear} is a subset of {single-speed}. I understand, though, that it is vitally important that a fixed-gear rider should never, ever, ever miss an opportunity to remind everyone in listening distance that they ride a fixed-gear.
