Photo Friday 10 March! *TODAY: MeCha Hands and/or Feet. Recorded for posteriority. Show us. And anything else in a photo with them.
*SUGGESTIONS for the next Photo friday?
*AND "Where y'at?" has new entries!
I love the feel of my laptop in the morning. Also counts as a WhereYaAt, with a picture of my banjo neck (which I don't play), my shrine to John Brown, and the morning sun showing through my ficus.
Clasp Your Hands and Say Yawn. Sans pants. (Oh, and note the subtle and superceded Straight Edge X. One afternoon with a needle, a pencil and some ink and I'm a hypocrite for life!)
Welcome to Photo Friday, the All Injury Edition! Last night I cut my thumb making dinner. I hadn't taken any hand photos so I made lemonade out of that particular lemon! (Scooby Doo band-aid because it was all we had.)
Conveniently, I had somefootphotos already in my Flickr stream. Gross!
This is where you will often find my foot. Get it? Get it?
Disclaimer: I fear there is something suggestive about this photo, but that was not my intent. Hey, this picture sort of works for last Friday's theme, too. My desk is a disaster, but the pig is awfully cute. ≡ Click to see image ≡
I cheated like 70 ways here. They're scans, not photos, they're not current, etc. My hands are not that red.
Suggestion for next week: Beloved childhood toy (that you still have).
Suggestion for the week after that (so that we can announce next week): Mode of transport (car, bicycle, motorcycle, bus, personal yacht, commercial airliner), however you get to work/school/the grocery store (for those in a home office). If you walk, show us part of your route.

Great. I had the screws removed 6 weeks ago and I'm pretty much back to normal. I get to start running again in two weeks, which is why I went through the surgery in the first place, so I'm looking forward to that.
Thank you, shane. If I'm going to be an ass and insist on everyone doing things my way, the least I can do is lead by example. Right off a cliff, if need be.
see, bmarkey, i like to wear my jeans cuffed like that, especially over boots. especially dickie work jeans, but you have to buy the ones with double knees because the others suck, then you cut out the double-knees on the inside if they're too hot. but people tell me cuffed jeans are out of style. not that i care. can cuffed jeans ever go out of style? nah.
Re: The childhood toy thing, if you have an adult toy (NO, NOT LIKE THAT) like a hand squeezer/stress reliever, something that sits on or near your desk, or even a souped up PDA/cellphone/sidekick you can't be without, that works, too. Think of it as show n' tell. Something that is near and dear to you, and maybe a little story why.
mike9322: that was about 6 years ago. I fell down the stairs at work. The ankle was weak from a previous sprain years earlier. When I fell at work, somehow I skidded across grout joints in the tile, which grabbed chunks out of my skin, hence the stitches. I also chipped the bone on the inside of my leg, but I wasn't anything like yours!! It was pretty much the most painful thing I've ever been through. It's pretty good now. stable, but not perfect.
