Photo Friday! Since there's no topic, lets make it "Poor photos that you still like." You know, those happy accidents and unintentional art. Or, one that you fixed to make better.
Here's one of mine to get us started. Shot in low light this one came out really crappy, but I like the effect.

Oh, and there's this one. Camera shake can be a beautiful thing.

I like this one. I was watching the dolphin show at the Baltimore Aquarium, and I knew the dolphin was going to be leaping out of the water right in front of me. I had the camera ready to go, the button half-pressed, knowing I was going to get a great photo. And then the dolphin got way higher out of the water than I expected it to. Coooooool.

Great idea, eekacat! Thank you a million for taking the initiative. That fern photo is gorgeous. Embrace the blur! And the grain. And all that other good stuff.

I took this one with my 10.00 mini digital keychain camera which totally kicks ass. It's super low rez and grainy and blurry, and I luff it anyway. It's part of the view out of the window next to my desk.

That's awesome, Mike! Though I think you staged that and hung the plastic dolphin from the ceiling.

This is a Barbie. It didn't come out at all but I liked the overall crappiness.

I like the blurry photo I took at my friends' wedding, when I was too drunk to remember that it was half dark and I'd altered the speeds on my camera.

OK, I've got one more. It's a crop of a larger mistake that I'm working on. I truly hated it and almost deleted it when I first saw it on the computer (looked fine in the camera...). I like how this sorta captures the hustle and bustle of the city. Taken in Toronto.

Major camera shake, but I love these people and I love the moment.

in this shot the light is wrong, and it's wobbly, and the composition is kind of helter-skelter, but somehow that captures the atmosphere of the moment even better I think:

Jaywalking home from a meetup, drunk, shooting out from under my shirt to keep my camera out of the rain.

Super low-light shooting in a bar with my former band. Drummer is shaking a pack of cigs, or something. Clearly got really aggressive with the post-processing.

I took this out of the window of a moving car the other day. I have no clue what it is, but I like it.

I've heard of shooting from the hip but not shooting from the shirt.

I took this in a hurry so it wasn't focused right, but how often do you get a chance like this?

No problem--thanks, eekacat!

I like the creepiness of this door. I'd taken it while driving to work for that Photo Friday about doors. I was able to go back and get permission from the owners to take the picture I later posted. But this one, I think, captures the decay of the place in a different way.

There's something about having rope and a screw eye holding your car door closed that appeals to me, despite the craptastic quality of this shot.
