What do you miss? With all that has happened in 2020 what do you miss? It occurred to me that it is not the people I am closest to that I miss most. It is acquaintances and just recognize folks I miss.

Merry Holiday to all I'm sending each of you best wishes and distanced hugs from afar.
24 December 2020
Happy Strange Christmas Anyhow Great to see you all here sharing holiday wishes. The heart of MetaChat beats on! Happy holidays to all. I've been listening to a lot of music on RTE Radio ireland. They play a lot of Christmas-themed songs you would never hear on US radio. I've fallen in love with so many that I made
a playlist of some of my favorites. Please enjoy!
Legendary Guitarist and Mountain frontman Leslie West hass passed on at 75. .Breaking in with
the Vagrants, he then hooked up with bassist Felix Pappalardi and Drummer N.D. Smart to form the hard rock/metal pioneers Mountain. They gave us the boisterous
"Mississippi Queen,", the lyrical
"Theme From An Imaginary Western,", the oft-sanpled
"Long Red,", the Woodstock tribute
"For Yasgur's Farm" and the roiling
"Nantucket Slieighride." His legendary guitar tone and yowl of a voice are
missed.RIP, Leslie.
Alison Krauss and YoYo Ma perform The Wexford Carol A pure clear voice and a haunting cello accompaniment. Sublime.
Sending love to all this Christmas, and thinking of you today, dear mightshould.

Food Trucks to the Rescue For whatever reason, my neighborhood seems to be a magnet for area food trucks during this quarantine. It began a few weeks ago, when one of the residents arranged for a local taco truck to visit one evening. It was a huge hit. Since then, we've had a BBQ truck, a different taco truck, a burger bistro truck, and an ice cream & sorbet truck. My friends in the more upscale neighborhoods are quite envious. They've gotten bupkus.
I keep hoping for a wood-fired pizza truck (which I have eaten at awhile back and is amazing).
Anyone else getting food trucks in your neighborhoods?
