Mesmer-azing Sanddorn balance by Miyoko Shida is performed with a feather and sticks, balance and concentration.
When I was a kid I used to do something like this and most kids I have known have done it. At some point though you just stop. It's fascinating to see what can be when you keep perfecting it. Rock stacking is like that too. Most every kid goes through a period of stacking rocks but it is amazing what happens when someone keeps at it.

I never did that either as a child. I didn't even know it was a thing kids do. Her skills are astonishing.

Wow. I guess kids in Canada just had more boring time on their hands. Take your ruler and hang in over the edge of your desk and put a book on it to hold it. Then balance your pink eraser on your pencil and then balance that on your ruler. If you got that down then you could move to balancing the whole thing on an upended book. Girls often had hair berets and things to add.

Hahahahaha!

I guess this illustrates that Canadians are the most well-balanced people.

Except for that and the fact that for seven minutes each night we shed our human forms and consume dryer lint we're just like you!

It took every fiber of my being to not make a joke about that....
