27 March 2020

We the undead. Wife and I both checking temps regularly and are both consistently below normal. I don't remember meeting any zombies or vampires...
I keep sniffing the back of my hand to make sure I haven't lost my sense of smell.

I should check the mirror to see if I've lost my reflection.

I keep reminding myself that it is allergy season = sore throat. I am considering taking extra meds just to double down on the symptoms...

I hear you. With the return of leaf mold and soon true grass pollen I have a cough and normally I would not really notice it but I sure am this year.

I still have a cough from the flu I had in January, which left me with post-nasal drip. This is nothing really to do with the nose - it's where mucus runs down the back of the throat, leaving me feeling that I need to clear my throat all the time. But if I clear my throat too much, it makes my chest hurt and then I start convincing myself I have the coronavirus cough. I think I must have had this post-nasal drip in a mild form all my life, as I never, ever need to blow my nose. Taking a one-a-day anti-histamine has helped over the last couple of days though.

Post-nasal drip messes up my sleep every fall and spring. Hugs to all. When something like this is happening it is hard to find the point between over and under reacting.

Wow. 15 minuets of sitting quietly and watching a cat eat and watching and listening to the jays, robins, cardinals, and finches do their thing was a real boost.

Also. Can someone do a welfare check on Bob Dylan? What is that about?

Yes. Bird watching is calming and entertaining.

"They" now say that below normal is the new normal. And perhaps had actually been the old normal too.

I have read about that OR and in addition it seems normal varies by .7 or as musch as 1.2 degrees F. So I guess watch out for fever but don't get to worried if you're a bit over.

Even works of art are emptying out. || A little bit of bluegrass from Steve Martin and his band
