Heads Up: Deleted Loquacious post As dedicated refreshers of AskMe may have noticed,
this post from loquacious asking for help was deleted. Some of us may remember that a couple of years ago he
was stranded in hospital and MeFites
bailed him out. He is self-reporting as having burned a lot of bridges, but it sounds like he's genuinely in trouble.

Backing into a parking space? Do you back into parking spaces (esp. in parking decks)? If you do, why?
People back into spaces in my parking deck all the time, and I really don't understand it - it almost always takes longer (they often have to back in and out several times to get straight).
Maybe it's just that I'm not that good at backing into spaces, so I never do it..

Umm...remember me? I sure remember you bunch! I missed you lot. Kinda went underground for a bit (3 kids plus a full time job does that to you). But out of sight definitely wasn't out of mind.

new television What shows have started in the last year or two that I should be watching? I tend to not pick shows up until they've been playing for a season or two (exceptions: The Americans; Veep) because I want to see how they go. So the above shows are the newest shows I've been watching.

Congratulations Amro! Shoshana Grace was born today at 4:34 pm. Mother and baby are doing well. Woooo!
OMG Whitespace on the front page! Wow; better find something to fill the space time MeCha continu-ummm. Today for me: desk at home, haircut ( = take shower beforehand you pseudo-dirty outdoorsy retro moron), more desk time, child time, see if new lenses for old glasses are ready, gym (yah, at 45+ I broke down and joined a gym) clean room (not), work on finishing "Hollow Crown" series (nicely done fwiw), try to spend as much time as possible away from the virtual library of the internet (fail again), almost impossible to find 1" headset fork for 700c tired parts NLA 2004 Cannondale SH400 arrives (why do they keep reinventing the 'wheel') and on and on it goes. ...
