What are you eating today? [More:]I had a chicken gyro for lunch. Taking myself for the early bird special at the Italian restaurant between work and class- fettuccine alfredo, mmmmmmmm. When I get home from school, I will eat some of the watermelon in the fridge. I carted that thing home with my bare hands this weekend! I must have looked ridiculous hobbling down the street.
I would have loved to see you carry the watermelon Pinky!

I eat pretty much the same thing every week day. The only difference is that today when I went to the market, I got a bunch of fruit to make a huge-ass fruit salad, plus three different flavors of gelatto.

Cereal for breakfast, a banana and a corn muffin later. A burrito for lunch. I just finished another banana. Tonight for dinner is leftover pizza. Maybe some chips & salsa.

Banana protein zone smoothie for breakfast. Jimmy John's Italian sub for lunch. (I would rather not support their jerky founder, but they deliver by bike DIRECTLY TO MY DESK.) For dinner, I have no idea. Probably cereal.

The "I have gallbladder issues" diet is getting boring as hell.

Porridge and coffee for breakfast. A bag of Hula Hoops and a yoghurt for lunch, and this evening I had Neapolitan pizza at the food court at Westfield before I went to the cinema. After the film I had sorbet - lemon and fruits of the forest.

For breakfast: half a blueberry scone and a soy double shot latte from Starbucks.

For lunch: half a turkey and havarti sandwich from Starbucks. Maybe a small banana later.

For dinner: a huge salad made with with oodles of spinach/baby greens/arugula, raw cucumber and zucchini, chopped baby carrots, chopped cauliflower, quartered cherry tomatoes, finely sliced sweet onion, half a chopped avocado, chopped celery, about a half cup of no-salt washed kidney beans, a couple of handfuls of soy cheese, and this awesome dressing:

Healthy Caesar Dressing

Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic
2/3 cup unsweetened soy, almond or hemp milk
1/3 cup raw cashew butter or 2/3 cup raw cashews
1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
dash black pepper

Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Roast garlic for about 25 minutes or until soft.

When cool, remove the skins and blend with the remaining ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender until creamy and smooth.

I had a day where I felt like scavenging around the kitchen. So.

Breakfast: hard boiled egg and a granola bar.
Lunch: babybel cheese, some crackers and spinach-artichoke dip, a peach
Afternoon tea: starbucks soy latte
Dinner will be a wrap with hummus, lettuce, tomato, blue cheese and whatever else I can find in the refrigerator.

A very "end of the week" day of food.

Breakfast was 1/2 a hamburger bun leftover from a weekend BBQ, with some peanut butter, because we were out of Ezekiel bread, my daily morning slice.

Lunch was a spinach salad from the cafe at work with some pistachios, gorgonzola, and cherry tomatoes mixed in.

Dinner was grilled chicken and salad with black beans in it, a few of LT's french fries, and some great double IPA.

Some hazelnuts before tours of Hansa studios ( where Bowie recorded Heroes) and by bus of the Berlin Bowie sites.
Ascension day is a public holiday in Germany, so most of the shops were closed.

I was able to get Thai later.

Leftover BBQ, and via a friend's company day at teh ballpark (in two sittings) a cheeseburger, two hot dogs, two servings each of baked beans and potato salad, and a few cokes. Blargh; payback time awaits in the gym.
