I suppose I could read the how to for 'more inside' too...

Today for me: Up at 5.15am, in the office by 7am. Lots to do today, all of which I got done. I attended a couple of meetings, held my casework clinic and finalised three cases. Then this afternoon I had a tour of our new office building. We're moving in September. The new building is absolutely fabulous. I was reluctant to move, being a creature of habit, but it's so well-planned. There are also two restaurants, one with a pizza station, two kitchens on every floor and a state-of-the-art gym, which is free.

This evening I went to the supermarket on the way home, as I have a friend arriving tomorrow for a visit. My cleaning ladies have worked their magic and everything is gleaming and looking wonderful. And I'm on holiday now until 27 May. So, a pretty good day really.

Woke up at 1:00am after a bad dream that I made myself forget, took some advil and went back to sleep.

Woke up at 5:00am to the kids screaming at each other over the Wii. They started this about a week ago where they'd get up super early in order to have screen time. I didn't think they'd last this long but here we are. I had to bring the hammer down on them, telling them this was *not* the way I wanted to wake up in the morning.

I'm pretty grouchy today. I think the lack of good sleep and general soreness today are not helping.

Just another workday. Got up at 5:30, at work at 7:30. Sitting sitting sitting all day. Reading and indexing over and over and over. Foggy in the brain and looking up restaurants for my vacation next week instead of working. Tonight I will be tired and grouchy and not want to cook.

Tossed & turned last night. Taking my dad out for his birthday tonight.

It is, apparently, Fluevog day. And the Fluevog boots I ordered came - the smell of leather is permeating my office right now. (Fluevog combat boots are totally office wear, right?)

Raining like hell here for the last two weeks or so. Getting kind of tired of it but all the foliage in the city looks green as hell.

Half work day for me. Came home and took a pill and read for a bit and chilled out. Eventually got off my ass and called my High Priestess and left her a voicemail. Took a shower because I was naaaasty and then laid down some more before rolling out to my evening dance class. I left my house before 6pm and didn't get to my class until it started at 715. Argh. (Normally I leave at 615 and make it there in plenty of time, but tonight was just full of fail. Traffic and accidents everywhere.) Class was good, if frustrating. We're doing foot patterns and layering them with hipwork. I know intellectually what I'm supposed to be doing, but I could not get my feet/hips/brain to sync up properly. Lazuli rehearsal afterwards was good and we ran through our stuff for the performance on Saturday. Got McDonalds burgers on the way home and I'm wondering when this epic rain is supposed to start.
