Talk:Asheville Meetup
I am already thinking of this as "Bunnystock", although level of nudity and choice of intoxicants will be up to the participants' discretion. --Matildaben 20:14, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
So Mlis created the wiki page before it was brought up on MetaChat? --Danostuporstar 20:42, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
I think it's been talked about informally for at least a month or two. Mmm, nudity and intoxicants... --Cmonkey 20:49, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, for a couple of months it was just me and mygothlaundry and moonbird and BoringPostcards talking about it. But then at some point it got mentioned as maybe a bigger thing, and when it got mentioned in Dano's thread and all of a sudden other people started talking about going, I realized it could be as big as the Vegas thing and decided to kick it up a notch. --Matildaben 20:54, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, when I created the main Meetup page, I put up a link to this Asheville page, knowing that MGL was quasi-planning something. Mlis made the initial edit. --Mike9322 22:23, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Also, someone needs to create a new template, since a column has been added to the table vs. how it is in on the Vegas page. As it is, the comments field won't show up. I may do it tonight or tomorrow if someone doesn't get to it before me. --Mike9322 22:32, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Never mind, I did it. --Mike9322 22:39, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
I like your comment in the lodging column, Mike. And anyway, who isn't, really? --Matildaben 23:18, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Omiewise! Hot springs?!? What could be better? (And you do realize, don't you, that the fact that you've been a river guide is going to make the mecha ladies fall even more in love with you than they already are?) --Matildaben 23:26, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Chewie! You're bringing your dogs? This is going to be so awesome! --Matildaben 14:14, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
The dog thing is a bit of a problem. I have a lovely neurotic collie mix who is, uh, a drunk in a redneck bar when it comes to other dogs. Which is to say, most of the time he's fine, funny, loving. BUT. If he perceives an insult, and what constitutes an insult in his head is completely opaque to humans, he turns into a snarling ball of furious fur. So. He loves all people, a bit too much actually, but with other dogs he is, honestly, a bit chancy. I hate that I have to say this, but if you insist on bringing your dog, well, it may be a very bad idea.
OMG taz!!!! *crosses fingers* --Mike9322 12:08, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
