Radio TDH Hope this helps!. As this is an impromptu set, what we have here is two hours of iTunes on random play. Results could be very varied.
iTunes on random! That's brave. (Or are you on party shuffle so you can veto?)

Anyway, I'm all over this track like white on rice.

This first track is the only non-random track. This is by Junior Senior, an act I heard from from one of BP's excellent sets. Thanks, man!

Nope - completely random with no vetoing. There's 11,500 or so tracks so hopefully there'll be a mix of stuff. See! We've had dance, country and now metal!

The second track was by Son Volt, formed by Jay Farrar after Uncle Tupelo split. More famously, Jeff Tweedy from Son Volt went on to form Wilco.

This rather noisy third track is by Fear Factory, creators of Demanufacture, one of the finest metal albums evah.

If you don't like that, have a look at some pavement art instead. It's rather good.

Tresspassers William
Tori Amos (who has just announced a new album in April/May, American Doll Posse, and also UK tour dates).
Silversun (this isn't a surpise - iTunes always plays Silversun. Random, my arse! They're a great, under-appreciated UK group)

Wilco
The Trews
The Black Keys

How cool is this hand art?

Juliana Hatfield
Interpol

The Frames
Therapy? ** this track is a cover of an old Husker Du track. The lyrics aren't nice. Really **

Oh, and initapplette, no worries. I was thinking that radio seems to have dropped off a little bit recently. The time difference between UK and USA means that I can sit here with a bottle of red open and play you stuff while you work. Which is cool. Anyway...

Isobell Campbell and Mark Lanegan
My Morning Jacket (from their first, not-as-awesomely-cool-as-almost-everything-else album)
Jeff Tweedy (what is this - Wilco night?!)
Fightstar (mmm, this could be the first embarressing one)
Radiohead

Check out Mr Picasso Head

Leela James
The Cure Yay!

Joy Zipper (sooo overlooked, I love this group)
Kat Flint (she needs help funding her debut album. Give her money!)
Rainer Maria (uh, according to that article, they've recently split)
Syd Matters (sings in English, blogs in French. Mon Francais est merde, so I've no idea what he's on about)
More Black Keys. 11,500 tracks and it plays 2 by the same artist in 2 hours? Rubbish!

A couple more after this as no one else has signed up and then I'm outta here.

I suspect the iPod's psuedo-randomizer is built like the Platte River - your collection may be a mile wide, but the psuedo-randomizer's view of it is only an inch deep.

Interesting set though.

The Frames again.
Fiona Apple
Matt Mays
The Black Crowes covering some group or other...
Teitur I love this track from Poetry & Aeroplanes so much and he's finally announced a UK gig, for which I snaffled up a ticket this afternoon.

That's all, folks.
