Incidentally, I just got back from the laundromat and I somehow picked up either a pink thong or a rather complicated piece of dryer lint, I can't really tell.

Nevermore, Psalm of Lydia. I think Jeff Loomis's guitar work is unarguably fine, but some people don't like the vocals (I do).
Edguy, New Age Messiah. One of their newer things, with a dash of humor.
Edguy, The Piper Never Dies. Classic metal tune in the old Rainbow vein that's great all the way through but really, really cranks up at the end.
Ensiferum, Lai Lai Hei with a Finnish folk flavor.
Orphaned Land, Ocean Land (The Revelation) with a middle-eastern folk flavor, from a concept album about the biblical flood.
