For Amberglow (and whoever else) Yeah, you said email it to you. But why not share with everybody. Yes.
KLF - Justified and Ancient
KLF = the funny. Read the lyrics to the (non-Tammy) version of Justified and Ancient.

What was the name that they took after this? The Justified Ancients of ... something...

thanks! : >

I also emailed amberglow all five tracks off the Justified and Ancient CD LP I have. If anyone wants it I can forward it easily via gmail.

Weretable, did you check out my mix?

And if anyone is looking for any other classic/old/goofy techno I have a whole lot of random stuff.

So we have KonKan's Beg Yr Pardon, this Justified and Ancient--any others like those?

Well KLF-wise there was an instrumental/no vocal track on the Last Train to Transcentral CD single, which was also a stripped down version of the first track on the 2nd side of Chill Out.

There's also a remix of 3 AM eternal called "London by Night," quite slow and jazzy and with female vocals. And another remix of 3 AM Eternal - The Blue Danube Remix/KLF vs. the Orb.

;)

Are they the ones who did Doctorin' the Tardis or am I totally on crack?

I think I might actually have The Blue Danube remix, and I might have Last Train to Transcentral as well. I also have Killing Joke vs. The Orb somewhere and something else related to that. (I used to have every single Domestic-US Orb release, a lot of the imports, and a majority of the remixes/singles, which is a metric fuckton of Orb.)

The latter should be easy enough to find 'cause I ripped it from CD, but the former might be in my "untitled" folder of doom from back when iTunes 1.0 raped my directories for the first time before I knew what dangers lurked there.

I'll look at it, and if I don't find it before this thread rolls off I'll post an update.

Cheers, loquacious! I was going to offer you some swaps but it looks like you have it all ;)

loq - I hadn't checked out the mix yet, but I downloaded it just now and I will listen later (going back to the yardwork now..heh).

The KLF left the music industry in May 1992, and deleted their back catalogue.

From the Wikipedia article... I also read a book by Zodiac Mindwarp and Bill Drummond where Bill Drummond reckoned the whole thing was a bet, the first to get to £1,000,000 had to burn it in Trafalgar Square. Or something. It was a nutty book.

Doh, read the article, they burn the money and make a film about it.
posted by bdave 29 August | 09:20
Have seen the film, not the most edifying experience.

KLF rarities for sale: Disco 2000 'Uptight' and KLF 'Kylie said to Jason' Remix vinyl.

KLF linked to Middle Earth!

Amber, other fun house tunes from the time may include: Reel 2 Reel 'I like to move it', Bizarre Inc. 'Don't you wanna be mine', Moby 'Next is the E', Doop 'Doop, (going back a bit further) C+C Music factory 'Gonna Make you Sweat', Steve Silk Hurley 'Jack your body', Snap 'Rythm is a dancer' and 'I got the power', Deelite entire first album and remix of 'Good Beat', MARRS 'Pump up the volume' etc etc

Captain Hollywood Project - More and More

Ce Ce Peniston - Finally

Deelite - Groove is in the Heart

Falco - Rock me Amadeus

I think I'll just post a bunch of 80s-90s pop music. Why not? Yes.

Corina - Temptation

Heavy D and the Boyz - Now That We've Found Love

Kim Wilde - You Keep Me Hangin' On

Nu Shooz - I Can't Wait

Yousendit has became slow for some reason. That's all for now.
