Food Trucks to the Rescue For whatever reason, my neighborhood seems to be a magnet for area food trucks during this quarantine. It began a few weeks ago, when one of the residents arranged for a local taco truck to visit one evening. It was a huge hit. Since then, we've had a BBQ truck, a different taco truck, a burger bistro truck, and an ice cream & sorbet truck. My friends in the more upscale neighborhoods are quite envious. They've gotten bupkus.
I keep hoping for a wood-fired pizza truck (which I have eaten at awhile back and is amazing).
Anyone else getting food trucks in your neighborhoods?
Look, nothing is going to magically take away your fear, your grief, your worry
but sometimes
sometimes
something can stop you for a moment to wonder
wait, what's this now?
Went out to feed the cats. Street lit with lights, squad truck, ambulance, people in hazmat gear, gurney with some integrated gear I've never seen before. Another day in the time of pandemic.
