Let's talk about size: a cool comparison of planets near us, and some stars. Some BIG BIG stars.
They had me until I was informed that I am not the center of the universe. In fact, I am the center of the universe. (As are you, of your own universe.)

It's funny you should mention that danf. Because from any particular point in the universe, the rest of the universe appears to be moving away in all directions. That's right, from the relative point of view of the Earth, the Earth IS the center of the universe. If you where observing the Universe from Mars, Mars would look like the center.

In fact, the universe is not thought to actually have a center. That is, a point where the Big Bang started and then moved outward from.

This idea of "center" is wholly a product of human perception.
