Brain disease. That would explain my relationship with my Father. I am forever saying sarcastic things to him, as if to say I am commiserating with you, and he takes it as a direct insult to his person.

AS a side, I recall research that was conducted in the last year, on the perceived truthfulness of the Colbert Show. It was found that Conservatives overwhelmingly believe that Colbert's character is not a front but a subtle way of getting the truth out to the public. In other words, Conservatives believe he is sincere; they believe he is Conservative, just like them.
