Whenever we are in Astoria, Ore., we almost always find something Goonies related. This handmade sign was replaced by an official one during the 25 year celebration. It's just at the bottom of the hill from Mikey's and Data's house.
I have a lot of blurry pictures of this hotel sign in Portland, and will eventually need to go back and take one on purpose rather than after going to Polishfest or the Alibi for drinks.
I've got too many of these, its a favorite subject mine. Love those ones from Japan Gomichild - Japnese signage could be a whole photo friday itself. I put up a whole gallery of them from my trip. Here's one:

My all-time favorite bicycling related sign. I think deciphering the sign has probably led to more accidents then riding into blindly turning traffic.

Another favorite (though a lousy pic). This sign for the Lake Washington High Schools featured it initials made out of rocks. This was "repurposed" by some students and was around for longer then I would have thought.
A news report, "Santa Barbara County Fire Department is on the scene of a fire in Cuyama", reminded me of this picture. Yes, a real sign (but not my picture). I just hope the fire doesn't burn the sign...
