I forgot to pay my landline bill and its internet disconnected for a few days. This was a very bad situation and I got a 3g data card to work with. Then that card's network was down for 2-3 crucial hours. Now I'm thinking of getting *another* landline connection and a backup office in a little store we have, like wiring it up with internet so I can just run in there and plug the laptop in if all three previous options are down for some reason. With my luck, should I also prepare for all four things being down at once?

Fishbike, I've been away and my my attitude now is just admiring it from a distance, I love our make believe computer world and I am proud to have been a apart of it, but like ...anything I'd want to do has been done and there are all these huge bug scale things and I'm just sitting here playing sim city. I can't even even finish the gold dome of the Porkton church. So I am in in tourist mode, looking at things and admiring them and going wow. That's okay with me.
And here's another question: it's been a long time since I posted photos here to Photo Friday, and I forgot exactly how to do the crazy HTML surgery required to get a Flickr pic onto MeCha correctly. Can you tell me how to do it? In time for this next Photo Friday? i seem to recall that there were changes made so that it didn't have to be such an arcane and arduous task, but... anyway, I WANNA POST PHOTOS! Please inform!
And Whelk, in case you've run out of absinthe (a noted answer-producing agent), perhaps there's someone else watching this thread who can answer my question? Is Pernod a good substitute? When I first read the Cornelius Chronicles back in the late 1970s I would walk around with a bottle of Pernod in my back pocket. Hey I was a kid who smoked too many Thai sticks.
Dang, iPad ate the huge thing I had about how a friend gets a case of pernod shipped to her every month for seemingly no reason, she doesn't order it , she's never charged, just ...poof.
And fungus comes fromo the Latin word for mushroom, fungus.
To link from photobucket, you must add the trailing / in the img tag, same as in the posting from flickr fix.
You must also remove the target="_blank" attribute in the "a" tag, and the border="0" attribute from the img tag.
