Wonderland, China For those who, like me, can never have too many abandoned theme-park photos. (Navigation arrows are up by the top corners of the photos, and a little hard to see.)

And for those of us who click first and ask questions later...I was typing in 2.html, 3.html, etc. by hand.

Just for you, Beeps, the remains of the American Adventure Theme Park in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

The park was built on the site of an old open-cast coal mine (a strip mine to USians), the lake being the filled-in pit from the mining. It was never up to much and couldn't compete with Alton Towers, the behemoth of UK theme parks, just a few miles away. It was in decline for years before it closed.

Wow, those are cool, Senyar... I hadn't heard of that place. The buildings with the big faces on the side are kinda freaky!

Senyar, that place could be the perfect site for MeCha Township!

OK BP, that is awesome in all the best ways. Really good photographs for the most part, and a great subject. Some place I wish I could go. I wish I had my own secret abandoned place to go and shoot. Especially now that I have Dr Nokton to drag around...
