Thanks everyone! We had our ceremony, a traditional Catholic one, in a small town in Puerto Rico near where my wife is from. My family all flew down from the states. The party afterwards was simple and nice at a beach house. The rings were custom made for us by a goldsmith in Boulder, CO. We gave him ideas for my wife's rings, and then I had him design mine from elements of hers. It was a fun process, and neat to follow. He carved the rings out of wax, and then on our approval he cast them in white gold. The stones are sapphires since we really didn't want diamonds for various reasons. I couldn't be happier.
WHOO HOO!!! Congratulations (and such gorgeous rings, btw). Here's a toast to many years of happiness together, to more joys than sorrows. It's never too late to have a happy ending.
