With all the pop-up ads and other shenanigans on that web page, they are laughing all the way to the bank. (I don't use pop-up blockers just so I can identify the assholes on the web, and this is one of them)

There were popups? My blocker has to be disabled for work stuff, but I didn't get any.

Also, the only reason those owls are laughing is because they're about to steal an innocent's soul. I'd even say they're laughing maniacally.
