Hung over what? I've seen owls hung under things, like overpasses, to discourage birds from nesting there. I don't know that that ever worked, though.

I love owls (except, perhaps, the Little Owl who lives near me and who is very noisy at 3am). These pictures are fabulous - in fact, they're a hoot!
