Very cool story. Very adorable kitty photo, too.

Yeah, they're EVERYWHERE. It's fun. There was a litter of kittens living in a little elevated garden area on the street outside one of the hotels I stayed at in Istanbul. One night, I came back to the hotel to find that the staff had picked up a teeeeeny kitten who had fallen off or gotten lost or something and brought it inside to sleep on the sofa in their lobby. I think they fed it and then put it back where it was supposed to be in the morning. I tried to play with it, but the poor thing was terrified and kept hiding behind the cushions.
