I saw Thomas Quasthoff twice in the past three days. . . Once, speaking, once giving a recital.→[More:] I was going to do a MeFi post about him but someone already did.

We are really lucky to have the Bach Festival here. Getting to see all this world class talent in this little burg. And it is not like rock stars. . .you can see these people on the street and talk to them and they are glad you did.

I once saw him sing Lieder from Schubert and Schumann.
Amazing voice.
