Cool. I was once thinking about doing a MeFi FPP on In the News, but there wasn't enough online at the time.

I was thinking of posting these to the blue, but then I got too lazy to compose an entire FPP around them. Feel free to do so yourself, however, if you still have a yen to do so.

Apparently, I can't stop typing "to do so".

As a kid I looked forward to the In the News segments as much if not more than I did for the cartoons and other kid shows. I was very jealous when one of my frined met Christopher Glenn at some journalism awards ceremony.

Wow! *major memory neuron activated* Tragically, I was young enough to despise In the News, because it interfered with Bugs Bunny, it was boring (=too over my head to appreciate or understand), and our TV had no remote control/mute button. Such a shame. I remember the little musical ditty they played at the beginning and end, and the graphic. Wow. Thanks, Atom Eyes!
