Interesting. I agree - Edith Ann came to mind.

I'm a big fan of Eloise - grew up with the book, still love it - and I admit I was hoping the song was going to be the "Up" song that her nanny sings when they wake up. I always wondered how the tune went.

I do play music and I can read with effort, but what I have the most trouble with is capturing style/feel, which is always imperfectly expressed on the page. I learn very rapidly by ear.
