The Geometry of Circles. Cool old animation from Sesame Street (1979), with original music by Philip Glass.
It took Sesame Street to make me fully appreciate the music of Philip Glass.

This was well after my Sesame Street years, so I never knew he did original music for them. That's just too cool.

Cool. It's like what Sesame Street would look like on acid.

So cool! A Philip Glass single! Plus the animation presented some fairly deep geometry concepts. This is why the teabaggers hate us.

Ah, so now I can say I've heard some Philip Glass.

Hell, I've heard a bunch of Philip Glass, and I never would have made the connection. Thanks!

What Ardiril and Madamina said!

It sort of foreshadows Teletubbies, no?

This is past my SS years too, but I remember seeing stuff like this and kid-brain thinking - oh, I'll understand this when I'm older. It's so wonderful that there isn't anything concrete to understand. Just swim in the stuff so that the pool isn't so cold when you get there.

Thank you. Just what I needed.

Two of my favorite things (I also think the Sesame Street Fisher-Price Little People) are really great). Thanks, BP.
