Mainly interesting that "free" Gmail users scored so high.

Technically I have addresses on three of those services though I don't use them all regularly.

This is silly.

I know for certain that having an .aol or .hotmail email address on your resume hurts your chances in the tech world. Having your own domain probably looks the best.

What, no Hotmail?

I hesitate before giving contracts to people who have Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL, BigPond, Optus etc e-mail addresses, because I don't feel that they can be reliably contacted. If I have two providers to chose from and everything else is equal, I'll choose the one with Gmail or their own domain. It's my tiny contribution to getting people running an alleged business to act like business-people.

I have had my Hotmail address since 1995, so long that I hardly get any spam any more.

I find it interesting that Gmail users have the most student loan debt. Probably partly because of their/our relative youth, though.
