Only seen a handful so far. Mulling Invasion of the Body Snatchers; which version? hmm. I like the idea of The Thing (1982) but I bet I'll be sitting here thinking "but the story was better!"

The original invasion is kind of perfect picture of 50s genre movie making. I can;t it holds up as "scary" to modern viewers, but it's really interesting.

Saw the 1978 version. Brooke Adams is distractingly pretty in it. Now watching The Changeling (1980). Placed Eyes Without A Face and American Werewolf in London in tomorrow's list.

I am coming away from this horror movie binge convinced that all of us have to be armed and trained in combat and have ninja-like psychological perseverance; who knows what your day at the office might turn into?
