This was the centerpiece I made the first time I cooked for my in-laws. My husband's grandma was unexpectedly hospitalized on Thanksgiving day so we packed everything up in containers and ate there with her.

I am thankful that I got to spend the next 8 years getting to know such a loving, funny lady. She kept her sense of humor right up until her last breaths in April of this year.
