Grrrr.

My upstairs neighbors are heavy walkers too. I don't understand it. They are both relatively small people.

I hated living upstairs, because of this. I felt all the time like we were stomping. I would walk around on the balls of my feet because my kids never thought about the person downstairs and just clomped around. I never heard from the guy who lived down there but I felt so bad for him because he was a single guy with his own place and he lived beneath a full family with a dog. It had to suck.
So, on behalf of your neighbors, Sorry! I'm pretty sure apartments are built with no regard to the peace and quiet of the people who will live there.

Yeah, I know it can't be his fault, which kind of makes it more annoying since I can't really complain (except to you guys! *waves*). It's just an unfortunate fact of living in most apt buildings.

In college a boy who did a lot of drugs lived right below my friend, and was convinced that they were cosmically synched together and that his heart would only beat when she stepped, and that when she stopped moving he might die. That was an interesting month for her til they got him out and got some help.
