I may have to drive over to my brother's house to go play with his cats. (They're kinda neurotic, but won't do the climbing thing. However, if you let your arms hang, Cliff will stand on his hind legs, grab your hand with his front paws, and rub it on his head.)

My cats just greet us at the door - no climbing. No more treats for them sez me! Lazy bastards. *grumble*

My ex-Cat would just demand to be picked up, and being a huge Maine-Coon, you complied with that demand. She seemed to enjoy being carryed around by people, so could always just pick her up by the scruff and toss her over your shoulder like a bag of rice without complaint.
