Aren't Blitzen Trapper the shit, Janus of Hue? I love that album. I OWN that album.

If you like that - you definitely need to check out a band called Annuals. Their latest is called Such Fun, and it's amazing. And the kicker is no one in the band is over 22 years old.

I just listened to Ladyhawke's eponymous 2008 record, which is derivative as hell, trashy, and obvious, but they get it just right and it's pretty great.

They're somewhere between Ladytron and Ethan Hawke.

Though the last song, "Morning Dreams," sucks enough shit to put a bad taste in my mouth.
