OK! I am finally ready to talk GG!
OMG- annoying stunt at the Oak room. I totally thought Georgina was going to show up.

Also, who thinks that Yale is so much pricier than NYU that Dan couldn't go to one but could go to the other? Come on! That is ridiculous. Including room and board, we are talking a difference of maybe 5K. Plus, Yale has a better endowment and thus gives more financial aid, so the sticker price isn't even what Dan would probably pay. It is very annoying for someone in the test prep/admissions business to see this kind of bs.

Now let's talk about the closing scene with Georgina. Why would either of them live in a dorm? They would totally get apartments in the building that the Olsens live in and spend weekends at home with their maids.

Blaire and Chuck, barf. I guess being a teenager is dramatic and all, but really? Though it would be nice to have someone fly to Paris to get you pastries.

And how pregs is Lily that they didn't even show below her shoulders this week?! It was a neck-up masterpiece, though I think lifting that 6pack to face height for the whole scene must have tired out her little triceps.

Grandfather not batting an eye at the Nate is a whore thing. I kind of forgot about his paid sex, so when the GG thing broke, I thought it was just that he nailed all of the female characters on the show at some point. Then I remembered, oh yeah, he is actually also a prostitute.

I am surprised that they showed the return of summer/packing up thing because I assumed next season would be focused on "our last summer together" and not "college where some of us miraculously ended up all going to NYU." It'll be a stretch to get Serena and Chuck (is he even going to college?) back on the scene.
Do you think in college that any of them will actually go to class or do homework?

I'm excited for not-dead half-brother to make himself known to Dan. I hope he blackmails Dan or steals his new literary college gf.

OH and can we TALK about Jenny's makeup of the undead 80's 30 yr old punkster? TERRIBLE. How is she supposed to be 15?

Poor Eric, he almost had a storyline tonight, but no, he just sat on the couch with his equally silent bf who he never gets to make out with.
