Everybody knows that "teh" is now an acceptable, legitimate word.

But it's so courtly, how they say "Obtain the Milk Calendar" instead of something crass like "Get Yer Free Milk Calendar."

Miko, courtly is a good description. We're pretty prim and proper here in the north (just not very gud spelrs!)

I wouldn't be surprised by "Getcher Free Milk Colander" with the presumption that the writer has no idea what a colander is.

Thank goodness public education is fixated on things like self-esteem instead of old fashioned subjects like spelling and math.

I remember reading a college newspaper editorial railing against some woman's behavior, calling her a "pre-madonna". It took professional rescuers to get me breathing again.

heh ... yes Mel I was counting newapaper as two for the typo and for not being plural. I originally missed those - I think my mind often corrects a lot of the errors so that I read what it should say - so I thought it was just the year and teh. But then I read it again and noticed them too.
