Photo Friday: Mugs, Glasses and other beverage containers. Suggested by youngergirl44.
These are my two tankards. The green one I've had for about 25 years. It used to be my favourite beer glass and then when I stopped drinking, it became my computer glass, full of sparkling water. I love it because it's impossible to tip over.
But a few months ago I'd put it on the floor as I was lounging on the sofa watching TV, and when I got up I kicked it accidentally, putting a vertical crack all the way down it by the handle (you can just see it in the photo).
I was heartbroken, my lovely, lovely tankard! I looked online for a replacement and couldnt' find anything. The shop where I bought it in the Midlands is long gone. But I found the other tankard in a pound shop. It's not as good, but it's heavy and hard to knock around so hopefully I won't send it flying over my desk.

Still boxed and holding up part of a makeshift table. There are 144 shot glasses, two boxes, one squared and frosted. i got them of ebay ages ago to use for candles (so you could then use the glass after you used up the candle) and, potentially, sculpture using the frosted ones almost like glass breeze blocks in one case. It was part of these holiday gift items i was readying pre season before that got completely derailed by circumstance and injury.
i think it was before the time of the last presidential election. Hmm.

i have nicer glasses but these are the survivors of a set of French fruit label glasses and bulk footed glasses and other assorted glassware.
i almost always only use empty reused pint jars to drink from on my own.
