Is this the right place to point out that if you click on 'Settings' in your Facebook account (assuming you have such a beast), then click on the 'language' tab, right at the bottom of the list of languages that the Facebook interface has been translated into is English (Pirate)?

No? Oh, OK then.

A sense of the absurd may serve you better here than the butterfly stroke. A command of blasphemous imagery is a must, however. Avoid ticking crocs and Russian gunboats.
