If he had thumbs he'd be dangerous... Check out how my weird cat eats. I think it's an adaptation to having such a smooshed face and not wanting to actually stick his whole face into the food bowl. It amuses me, but I feel bad when he drops pieces.

Wow. I've known plenty of cats who scoop out a piece or two, rather than stick their head in the bowl, but I've never seen this much dexterity.

Yeah, I tried a plate because I thought it might be easier for him to eat out of, but he still tries to eat out of his paw, and actually has more trouble because he doesn't have the side of the bowl to help him pick up the food.

That's hilarious. As for the occasional dropped piece, it's an easy fix. Just put some double-sided tape on his eating paw, and he'll never drop another piece again!

What a cutie! He kind of looks like the cat I have in mind for a story I've had tossing around in my mind. That was the only way our siamese would eat.
