What do you watch on YouTube when you need a giggle? [More:]I have a number of videos I watch when I need a minute or two of stress relief:
*Funny Baby Makes a Speech
*Tyra Banks on Vaseline
*Lazytown "Cooking by the Book" (a friend introduced me to this song; belting it out always lifts my spirits)
*Soulja Boy Pooh (watch the whole thing, it's very clever)
*U.G.L.Y. (I think BoringPostcards posted this here on Mecha)

What about you?

Mad Cat (Burger and Fries): mostly for the voice of the shelter worker.
Thanks, Arthur: you CANNOT just watch once.

Firefly episodes.

That Prof. Snape version of I'm Bringing Sexy Back. (hmm turns out there are a few of those and since I'm at work I can't watch them to see which one is the one I'm thinking of. I think it's this one.)

That Team Gina video expressing appreciation on behalf of the queer femme nation. (Thanks, occhiblu!)

On a related note: Sir Mix-a-Lots Baby Got Back

I spend way too much time on youtube.

Did you know the entire Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice is available? God bless the person who posted it.

Weezer: Island in the Sun
Weezer: Pork and Beans
Demetri Martin: Jokes with Guitar

Oh, and lately spoofs of Twilight (the Stephanie Meyers OMG EMO VAMPIRES series) have been keeping me amused for DAYS (all spoilery except the first, but probably dodge subsequent comments):
Sparkle Motion
Cleolinda's summaries
Edward as 40-year-old housewife
Edward watches porn
Edward makes a laundry schedule

And I haven't even read the books!

The newest sensation, sweeping the nation: Wipeout. I laugh my ASS off watching this crap. Seriously, tears running down my face laughter.

Ethan laughing. He's the best. I know there's a lot of laughing baby videos out there, but this one gets me every time.

Funny interviews, like Bill Murray on Letterman, or Charles Grodin on Letterman. Craig Ferguson clips. Lots of stand up, like Steven Wright and Jim Gaffigan - Cake.

Rusty the narcoleptic dog. Works every time, like right now for instance, I am really worried about my sister in Georgia what with the war starting, but I am also crying laughing about the dog falling over.

Oh, and Don Hertzfeldt's little comic strip, Anesthetics. Especially the ones with Bobby Neurotic in them.

I like all the gang shit on YouTube, like this Samoan Crip video.

Also, this is goofy.

Oh, and who could ever forget this?

Can't hotlink to anything, at work.
Zero Punctuation (acerbic video game reviews)
Ricky Gervais, Alexei Sayle, British comedies.

Fuzzbean - Cleolinda Jones kicks ass. I've read her stuff for years.
SLOAN: And we are the weapons of fate who interpret the magic weavings and carry out their orders.
WESLEY: Seriously?
SLOAN: Yes.
WESLEY: No, for real.
SLOAN: Yes.
WESLEY: And you want me to kill people, seriously, for real, because the Giant Magic Loom of Fate said so? In medieval binary?
SLOAN: Now you know why I never let anyone in here twice.

msali - Wipeout is the funniest thing ever! What is it about seeing people wipe out that is just so funny? I love the commentators too:

"Well, as least she's not wiping out on any of the ACTUAL obstacles!"

And people bouncing around on the big balls - slapstick comedy gold!

anything by mini moni.

particularly that second link.
posted by eatdonuts 08 August | 16:29
Yeah, I don't think that obstacle course was made to be completed. It looks impossible, especially the big balls.

Charlie Bit Me.

Star Wars according to a 3 year old.

I wouldn't think of myself as a cute little kid enthusiast, but those two are my favorites.

Fuzzbean's link is right up there for me, too. "I'm a banana!"
