Minding baseball's business I'm a big fan of the baseball essays that Sars writes. Here is another good one. Also, we were at the final game of the final Subway Series in the current stadiums yesterday. It was awesome.
Shea was the most uncomfortable live baseball experience I have had. I have seen games in the LA Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, the old LA Wrigley field (saw Mantle and Maris there), the Big A, Candlestick, Oakland Coliseum, The Kingdome, and now Shea. It was hot amd sticky, the seats were very narrow and far away, and I made the mistake to tell my Lawn Guyland seat neighbor that I was an LA Dodger fan.

Left in the 8th.

Oh yeah, Shea stadium sucks. But Shea stadium when the Mets beat the Yankees... yeah, that's good. The new Citi Field looks great though.

Sure it was! There are plenty of Mets fans in Manhattan.

Was it good for you? || It's a shame this television cross-over was never made:
