Ok, it's not "Danger in the Dark," it's "Firebug." Apparently lining up the episodes with the proper names was beyond me.
The sound quality's bad, but it's broadcast all the way from 1938! It's better in the next one.

The Shadow on wikipedia- it explains why he's totally invisible in the radio series, and can actually be seen in the novels.
