His father's son. [More:]I had the radio on last night and this song came on, and it wasn't one that I recognised from Sweet Baby James, although the voice was unmistakeably his. Then I looked at the digital display and saw the name of the artist. He's definitely his father's son.

To get the full déjà vu effect, don't watch the annoying video but just listen to the song.
I knew we should have killed them before they spawned.

I've seen fire, I've seen rain, I've seen a lot of JT Lovers and a lot of JT Hayters and I've heard son-of-a-legends who sound TOO MUCH like their dads to be anything but a novelty... sorry, Julian L. Besides, when all the old pop stars of the 60s and 70s refuse to retire and get out of the way, who needs 'em?

I like this. Even if he does sound just like his father. It's good. He can sing, obviously.

I played this for my wife, without the video, and without any context except telling her it was the son of a two famous singers. She got James Taylor immediately, but it took, oh, 30 seconds for her to get Carly Simon--and she didn't have any idea that the two had ever been a couple.
