Every rediscover someone in your iPod that you'd forgotten about? Years ago, I bought the cd [More:]for this song. Even emailed back and forth with her once or twice to figure out if she was playing Eugene, and she said she'd played to a deserted bar and didn't want to do that again. Anyway, this one came up on shuffle yesterday and just kicked my ass, in a fun way.

Maybe she's old news to NYers but I felt like sharing this anyway. . .
Of course a typo in the subject line. . .*sigh*

I've never heard of Rigby. These songs are really good. Thanks, danf!

I think she was married to Will Rigby at some point, he was the drummer in the last incarnation of Steve Earle's Dukes.

She's pretty good. Unlike her ex-husband, whose 'Paradoxaholic' album is one of the worst things I've ever heard. It could only sound worse if Yoko Ono covered it.

I still have a couple of MP3s (probably from someone here) that I like -- "Are We Ever Gonna Have Sex Again?" and "O'Hare" (We've been circling each other like a couple of planes at ...), which are two sides of the same coin.
