Impressively annoying.

Saw this interview with The Rick himself. "Listen, I just think it’s bizarre and funny. My main consideration is that my daughter doesn’t get embarrassed about it."

Holy shit Seanyboy, that is the best stuff, even though I had to actually go into my task manager to shut the damn thing down. That was awesome. I have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.

Excellent.

In FF, I managed to escape by just OK'ing through all of the pop-up boxes as fast as I could and then navigating away.

Thanks for that interview, TheophileEscargot. It's cool that he seems to have a sense of humor about the whole thing. Also, I loved this, from the comments after the article:

I was leery of clicking but did. Too funny! It quit after a few seconds and stayed on one screen - FF 2.0.0.12 with adblock, no script, etc.

I figured Astley had to know about the Rickroll sensation but it's nice to know he's taking it with grace and humour.

The rickroll amuses me to no end. It's just one of those things that always makes me laugh. And the pop-ups on this just added to the laughing.

Oh crap, it wasn't until I went to close the window that the pop-up hell started. Had to ctrl-alt-del and close the program to get it to go away.

Seen that before, not quite as funny or hijacky as advertised. All you have to do is click on ALL the popups of the line-by-line lyrics (73 including some blank lines, yes, I counted). I think it's time to start considering a post-RickRoll world and what will be the NEXT big thing to annoy websurfers with...
