String Beans Tempura, and recipe at Epicurious. We made these last night and they're pretty orgasmic. I had them at PF Chang's last week and they were really addicting. I used club soda instead of beer and they came out yummy. We made the soy dip and also a very spicy dip using mayo and red pepper sauce. You must try.

Oh, yum!

We planted a bunch of beans on sunday. Should start harvesting in 6 weeks or so, so this one goes into the recipe box!

Planted edamame too. Yay!

My father discovered how well Bisquick does tempura and he has been cooking everything, including string beans, this way.

Whoa.

I was watching "Simply Ming" a couple of weeks ago and he made a basil tempura batter, then dipped tomato slices in it and deep fried them. Served with mozzarella slices: Deep-Fried Caprese Salad. Holy shit.
