One of the most beautiful things I've seen in a long time [More:] was this amazing spin-o-rama goal by Brian Campbell.
Amazing!

If your a Sharks fan, get used to it, bmarkey. He did that maneuver regularly when he played in Buffalo (not usually that deep and resulting in a goal). Get used to the spin-o-rama.

There are still those in Buffalo that are hopeful that Campbell will sign with the Sabres in the off-season, but I doubt Sabres management will shell out the money someone else will pay him.

He's a great talent. A lot of fun to watch. (Not the best defenseman in the league by any stretch, if you actually want him to defend though.)

Oh... and if you're lucky he might give you a little of this, too.

I do like the Sharks, but sadly I don't get to see them that often. All the hockey I see on TV comes via Hockey Night In Canada. The only reason I saw that particular game was that I was visting my parents, who live close enough to San Jose to pick up the occasional game on their dish.

And that is one nasty hit.

Beautiful spin-o-rama, truly.
That hit was solid. The dazed and confused look of the dropped player said it all.

Last night, Toskala didn't quite get his body behind this toss of a shot from waaay away.

I know how he felt, as a goalie, I let one in like that this winter. From the opposite end of the ice, lofted along the ceiling, bounced, bounced and whoops, I let it in. I dropped into a butterfly, knees not quite closed, slid right through me.
Next time I'll skate out and catch the pop fly./
