Radio Mecha - Bmarkey's Lost Nuggets From the 80s In an hour or so, at 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST, I'm re-playing bmarkey's Lost Nuggets from the 80s set. In the meantime, I'm playing a little '80s hip-hop. Please tune in, if you're so inclined. And if you can't listen to bmarkey's set now, rest assured that I'll rebroadcast it again sometime.

Okay, this is the last song before the switch to bmarkey's set. And, because bmarkey's name always reminds me of him, this song features Biz Markie.

Tune in, or stay tuned, for two hours of lost classics and forgotten rock/pop gems from that most misunderstood of decades, the 1980s.

Here's the playlist for the hip-hop stuff:

LL Cool J - Go Cut Creator Go
Kool Moe Dee - How Ya Like Me Now
Ultimate Force - I'm Not Playing
Special Ed - I'm The Magnificent
EPMD - You're a Customer
Eric B & Rakim - Chinese Arithmetic
DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince - Girls Ain't Nothin' But Trouble
Stetsasonic - Sally
Public Enemy - Can't Do Nuttin For Ya Man
Kool G Rap f Biz Markie and Big Daddy Kane - Erase Racism

Black Randy & the Metrosquad - Trouble At The Cup
Fear - Let's Have a War
Minutemen - The Roar of the Masses Could Be Farts

(That Black Randy song doesn't appear in bmarkey's playlist, but I just couldn't resist throwing it in.)

Medium Medium - Hungry, So Angry
Romeo Void - Chinatown
8 Eyed Spy - Diddy Wah Diddy
Mission of Burma - Academy Fight Song
Red Rockers - Guns of Revolution
The Call - Everywhere I Go

(Likewise the 8 Eyed Spy.)

This is roughly the time that bmarkey said, in his original set, that we've reached the halfway point, and that things are soon to get poppier.
